HMRC have a dedicated page to help you make an arrangement if you are unable to pay your income tax bill. It’s important you give it 48 hours after your return is filed and then ring HMRC as soon as possible to discuss payment options. Agents cannot do this and HMRC will want to speak to the taxpayer.
